Finding a property through Dukes Lettings & Property Management.
We recognise that every tenant is different and we will endeavor to gather as much information about your needs and requirements as possible, before showing you properties that may be suitable.

Wherever possible a member of our team will accompany you on each viewing and back again, if a second viewing is required. Our office is open six days a week for your convenience. All our staff have rented property themselves, at one time or another and are fully aware of the requirements and anxieties often associated with renting property.

Once you have chosen your property as your new home, negotiations will take place and once accepted, a tenancy agreement and associated paperwork will be prepared. References will be taken and should take no more than 24 hours to complete. A detailed inventory of the property is prepared and a date set for the start of your tenancy. Check in is then carried out and you will have the opportunity to make any comments in the inventory document. At the end of your tenancy, providing the property is left in a satisfactory condition, Dukes will request the release of the deposit from the DPS ( Deposit Protection Scheme). If however there is a dispute over the condition of the property, the amount in dispute will be held back by the DPS and the remaining amount forwarded to the tenant.
