Typically, following receipt of satisfactory references Dukes will then collect the tenants deposit together with the initial month’s rent and having deducted our fees for arranging the letting and any outstanding contractor’s invoices, the remaining funds will be transferred electronically to the Landlord bank account after check-in. The deposit, if held with Dukes will be placed with the DPS (Deposit Protection Scheme) ready for refunding (less any charges due) at the end of the tenancy. If the Landlord wishes to hold the deposit he must be a registered member of a deposit scheme. Our office is open six days a week for your convienience.
