Description
Los Arrendajos is a secluded new villa built in a traditional Spanish style featuring wooden ceilings and terracotta floor tiles throughout.
Its modern conveniences, comfortable furnishings and stunning views offer you the chance to relax and enjoy the best of life in rural Spain.

The villa, available to rent on a self catering basis, overlooks a rich mixture of olive groves, arable farming land and dramatic mountain scenery. The spacious accommodation easily sleeps 6 people, with the grounds of approximately 3.5 acres ensuring your privacy.Two extra folding beds can be made available so that a total of 8 people can rent the villa.

Two hours after landing at Malaga or Granada airport you could be relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sun and the stunning views and planning your holiday excursions and activities.

Cortijo Los Arrendajos offers visitors a peaceful and secluded holiday home of great comfort. It has stunning panoramic views and although it is is very private it is only 15 minutes away from Montefrio and 1 hour away from the hustle and bustle of city life in Granada.

Accommodation

There are 3 double bedrooms and a living and dining area all of which have been furnished in a simple sophisticated style whcih is above all both comfortable and relaxing.
The Kitchen
Is open plan with the dining room  has all the modern appliances that you need to have a good holiday, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, toaster, hob, oven, electric kettle etc making catering as easy as possible....
The Sitting Room
Is equipped with comfortable sofas, television with UK Free view channels, DVD player, CD player with a huge range of discs and a bookcase full of novels.
The bathroom
Is large and airy with abundant hot water.
All bathroom towels are provided
(as is all bed linen) but visitors are requested to bring their own towels to use by the pool.

Outside

Outside the house has a covered terrace that provides shade for those hot summer days.
But beside the private pool the sun worshippers can have full sun from dawn 'til dusk.
Dining 'Alfresco'
Eating and sitting out on the terrace on warm evenings can be a delight.

We provide plenty of outdoor furniture.....loungers, tables, chairs and a barbecue. Don't forget to bring your own towel to use by the pool.....we provide only bathroom towels.
Tariff & Availability
Prices are based on a one week's stay. However we are very flexible about the length of holidays and so that visitors can take advantage of cheaper flights we do not have fixed arrrival and departure times or days.

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking.

An extra charge will be made if the two folding beds are required to enable 8 people to stay at the villa.


Location

Los Arrendajos is situated between the towns of Montefrio and Algarinejo to the west of Granada.


The closest town to the house, for shopping, eating out and bars is Montefrio and our agents also operate from there.

Nearest are probably Salobrena and Nerja at 1hr 30 mins  drive away and the nearest lake for swimming is Iznajar at about 1 hours drive away. Nearest Water park is 1 hour away in Granada.
 

Granada Airport is approximately 1 hours drive away and Malaga Airport is roughly 1.5 hours away.

Car hire is essential and we can make recommendations on request. If you prefer to hire a car locally then airport pick-up can be arranged.

We provide maps and detailed written directions to Montefrio and our agents then meet visitors on the road and take them to the property and ensure that they are happy and settled.

Historic Montefrio is just 15 minutes drive away and is a most dramatic white walled Spanish town. It offers bars and restaurants too numerous to mention.
Granada is an exciting city to visit with something for everyone - a lovely water park and an interactive science park for younger visitors, the incredible Moorish Palace of The Alhambra for anyone interested in architecture and history, and of course the cafe culture enables everyone to while away many hours very happily.
